BendPak ASARS™ Brings Automatic Arm Restraint Home

The MAX7 brings BendPak’s Automatic Swing Arm Restraint System to a portable two-post car lift for your own garage. ASARS™ automatically locks the swing arms as the lift rises, using 360° holding grip to help prevent unintended arm movement during lifting and service. It is a major upgrade for controlling swing-arm movement. Seven separate safety lock positions provide a choice of lifting heights. A hydraulically equalized system synchronizes the lift, while the mobile power unit cart supports the hydraulic power unit and flow divider. The result is a compact lifting setup with features built around the work you do beneath the vehicle.

More clearance makes a difference when the next job takes you beneath the vehicle. The MAX7 rises 3 inches higher than the M7K and reaches a maximum lifting height of 50.25 inches, measured with the lift pad at its high setting and one stackable adapter. That additional room gives maintenance and repair work more breathing space. A set of four telescoping screw pad adapters with 35 mm pins now comes with the lift. Their 1.5-inch adjustment range helps fine-tune lift-pad height, while the telescoping arms extend from 26.5 to 41.25 inches from pivot center to pad center. Adjust the arms and pads to the vehicle’s approved lifting points before raising it.

Your garage may be a service bay on Saturday and parking space on Sunday. The MAX7’s columns bolt securely to the floor for lifting, then disconnect and roll away for storage after use. Recessed drop-in anchors keep the prepared mounting locations in place, so the lift can return to the same setup. Column spacing can be configured from 105 to 135 inches between the base plates. The columns measure 67.25 inches overall, with the cylinder heads reaching 95.75 inches above the floor at full rise. Plan for the raised vehicle and moving lift components when checking overhead clearance. Standard Package electrical specifications are 110V, 50–60 Hz, single-phase, 23A.

Reach 3 Inches Higher

Raise your working clearance above the previous M7K. MAX7 reaches 50.25 inches at maximum lift height with the pad at its high setting and one stackable adapter.

Fine-Tune the Pads

Four telescoping screw pad adapters are included with the lift. Their 35 mm pins and 1.5-inch adjustment range give you a way to fine-tune pad height during vehicle setup.

Give the Floor Back

The columns bolt down securely during use and roll aside after removal. Recessed anchors retain the mounting locations while the garage goes back to parking, storage or the next project.

Configure Your Working Space

Set column spacing from 105 to 135 inches between the base plates. Adjustable telescoping arms and seven height lock positions help configure the lift for the task and approved vehicle lifting points.
